By accessing or using the App, you confirm that you accept these Terms and agree to comply with them. If you are a parent or guardian downloading the App for a child, you accept these Terms on their behalf.
SkillSteps is an educational mobile application designed to help neurodivergent children develop social skills, communication abilities, and daily routines through interactive stories, visual aids, and guided activities. The App is intended for informational and educational purposes only and does not constitute medical, therapeutic, or professional advice.
The App provides a selection of free content. Additional content is available through a one-time in-app purchase ("Premium"). Premium access is a lifetime purchase — once unlocked, all premium content is available indefinitely, including future content updates at no additional charge.
Refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with their App Store refund policy. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com or contact Apple Support directly.
All content in the App — including text, illustrations, icons, audio, and software — is the property of SkillSteps and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content in the App without prior written permission.
The App allows you to create custom stories and routines. You retain ownership of any content you create. This content is stored locally on your device and is not accessible to us.
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. SkillSteps does not warrant that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted. The App is not a substitute for professional medical, therapeutic, or educational services. Always consult qualified professionals for specific needs.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SkillSteps shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data or any damages resulting from reliance on the App's content.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
